It is about building connections based on Quality, trust &Safety
Everyone feels valued safe and free to be themselves

What does it involve

It is not about a school subject. It is about behaviour
It is about adults guiding children and youth in appositive way.
It is about adults being role models
Children can learn by observation both the good and the bad.
They can learn coercive control and inequality
Children learn it is acceptable to do unto others what they experience.

Hence adults need to be role models

How can we take action

Be an active mentor; an active bystander
Actively participate with schools; be a motivator
The time in learning places forges mind sets and behavior.
Be prepared to be proactive always
Incorporate this in all IW activities
Organize activities to mentor children
